For my project, I am doing a pot with lid. I decided to do this project because it looked like it would be fun to make and I would be able to create a unique piece. Before I started my actual project I had to plan. Planning included doing research on pinch pots with a lid, and sketching how the pot wa going to look like in many different ideas. Eventually it came down to one idea of a pot I was going to create. Before i could create the actual pot I had to make a moquette to get my idea down into actually clay and execute details of how the pot was going to look. When I created this moquette there were some changes I had to make. The sides of the pot were becoming uneven so I started over and created a sturdier pot. Creating the lid was the trickiest of all. I started creating a different type of lid but then switched to this because of the way the one lid looked before. This lid looks much better.
